Boreal Mountain Ski Resort in Truckee, California is prepared to open for skiing and riding on Friday, October 28 at 3:00 pm. One lift will be opperating during the early season, offering access to one run with park features.
During the early season the Nugget chair lift will provide access to a single run and a five-feature terrain park. Boreal Mountain Resort will be open from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 29 depending on snow conditions. Season passes for the 2011/2012 season will be honored during the October 28, 29 opening weekend. The passes will be available for purchase on premesis, as well, for a discounted rate.
The 7th Annual Jibassic Public Invitational will take place at the terrain park Boreal Mountain Ski Resort on Saturday, October 29 from 10:00 am until noon. One thousand dollars in prize money will be given away at the pre-season jib contest, which is open to the public.
