Several days of snowfall delays didn’t stop Americans Gus Kenworthy and Devin Logan from taking top podium spots in the half pipe competition at the 100% Pure New Zealand Winter Games Wednesday.
On the men’s side, like most of his competitors, Kenworthy struggled against the weather. Fortunately, his highly technical run netted him 85 points, which was more than enough to best New Zealand’s Jossi Wells’ score of 78.25. Rounding out the top three was David Wise, who almost trailed both Kenworthy and Wells with a score of 75.25 points.
